Geographic Information Systems (GIS) - Infrastructure Mapping, Database Development, and Management

Constantine Engineering has in-depth expertise in GIS data collection, mapping and data integration. Constantine utilizes the latest technology to collect the field data and integrate into the GIS database. GIS data mapping gives the customer an entirely new method of organizing and accessing their infrastructure data. GIS data mapping allows the user to view, inventory, and analyze all their infrastructure data geospatially, providing a wealth of reports, charts and queries, as needed.

Constantine Engineering provides GIS services including:

• Assessment of organization GIS needs
• Design of an integrated GIS solution that meets the customer needs
• Infrastructure data collection in the field, post - processing, integration, and mapping of the GIS database
• Optional real-time integration of enterprise data with the GIS database
• Training of organization staff to collect field data and continue building the GIS database

GIS data is collected in the field to provide exact coordinates of all your infrastructure. This field data is incorporated with the attributes of the infrastructure, such as pipe size and customer meter data, creating a seamless database of your entire system.

Constantine has a wealth of GIS experience. Constantine provides GIS data collection and mapping for the Okaloosa County Water System, as part of the overall Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) services for the utility. Constantine recently completed the GIS mapping of all the water systems in Macon County, Alabama. Constantine has developed, in partnership with the DeKalb Cherokee Gas System, a GIS data collection system and database platform that is incorporating their enterprise data. Constantine is utilizing GIS data collection in the mapping of wastewater collection infrastructure in the city of Decatur, Alabama.
