Helping Hands distributes food to families of Dougherty students

One in four children in the Dougherty County School System in Albany, GA, experienced food insecurity before the Covid-19 pandemic. Due to the pandemic, hunger in the area has grown exponentially.

Albany’s Helping Hands Ending Hunger program, and its local partners, received grant funding to deliver food to families in need in the Dougherty County School System.

Constantine Engineering was honored to be a part of the food distribution team efforts on Wednesday.
